The area of Harmony Hills Residence benefits from the unique Sea climate clean air, rich in salts, ozone, iodine, bromine, calcium. The average annual temperature is around +12°C. Air temperature in the summer is over 25°C and often reaches 29-32°C. In May and September the day time temperature is 20-25°C, and in April and October around 15-19°C.
Optimum humidity of the air 63-65%; There are typical light refreshing winds from the sea – days with refreshing breezes make up 2/3 of the summer months. From April to September the days are from 13 to 15 hours long and the sun shines from 8 to 11 hours. The intensity of the summer sun radiation in summer at noon is up to 1.4 joule/cm2 per minute. Predominating are the sun rays of the UV spectrum whose length is 280-315 nanometers (well outside the danger zone of skin cancer stimulating sun rays).
Sea water has low salinity of up to 18 g/kg by the shore and up to 22 g/kg in deep water. With content of favorable concentration of magnesium and calcium, over 50 beneficial ions and trace elements like manganese, iron, iodine, copper, cobalt, and zinc, plankton rich in minerals and vitamins. The temperature of sea water in June, July, August, and September is around 22-25°C. In the third week of may it reaches 20°C, while at the end of October it gradually drops down to 15-16°C. Considerable heat capacity and weak heat release with a 2-3°C difference in the temperature in the morning and in the evening. Mineral water in the resort is with temperature 25°C, slightly mineralized, hydro carbonated, containing magnesium, calcium, sulfurous oxide compounds. The facilities at the fitness center and its modern equipment offer excellent conditions for training and recreation.
Varna Airport is located at the northern Bulgarian Black Sea coast, just 8 km away from Varna – the Summer Capital of Bulgaria. It is at the heart of a highly developed business community, close to leading Bulgarian summer resorts and transport facilities. Its strategic position guarantees a good amount of charter passenger traffic during the summer season and makes it a reliable partner for development of regular lines. The potential of Varna Airport has a strong effect on the development of transport networks, tourism and trade between partners from East and West.
The Summer Schedule of the flights to Varna airport starts on 27 march. The airport will welcome regular flights to and from 19 destinations. The new regular destinations are Koln (Germany), Katovitse (Polland), Samara and Kazan (Russia). Daily flights will be available to Sofia, Vienna and Budapest. Daily flights will be also available to Domodedievo airport in Russia from the beginning of June. Bulgaria air will also operate regular flights to Sheremetievo, Moscow, twice per week and once per week to Sankt Peterburg. Bulgaria air also launches tree regular flights per week to Gatwick in London and Brussels.
The regular flights to Sankt Peterburg, Luxemburg, Dusseldorf and Ekateriningburg start in May.
